Canberra Golf Studio was founded by PGA Professional Nathan Stubbs with one simple goal: to create the type of golf facility he always wished existed.

After more than 20 years in the golf industry, Nathan saw too many golfers relying on guesswork, limited practice opportunities and outdated coaching methods. He believed there had to be a better way.

By combining world-class technology, performance-based coaching and flexible access, Canberra Golf Studio was built to help golfers of every level improve with purpose. Whether you’re chasing lower scores, more distance or simply greater enjoyment of the game, every session is backed by data and a clear development plan.

Nathan’s passion lies in helping players unlock their potential through smarter practice, measurable progress and a deeper understanding of their game. Today, Canberra Golf Studio has become more than an indoor golf facility it’s a performance hub where golfers can train, learn and improve all year round.

Random Practice creates Random Results.

Structured Improvement creates Measurable Progress.

Frequently Asked Questions

A Studio Visit is the best way to experience Canberra Golf Studio and determine the right path for your improvement.

During your visit, we’ll:

  • Tour the facility
  • Learn about your goals
  • Discuss your current challenges
  • Explain how our systems work
  • Recommend the best membership or coaching pathway for you

This is not a sales presentation.

It is a structured conversation designed to help you understand what improvement could look like for your game.

No.

Canberra Golf Studio is designed for golfers of all skill levels.

Whether you’re:

  • New to the game
  • Trying to break 100
  • Working toward single digits
  • Preparing for competition

The process remains the same:

Assess.

Diagnose.

Program.

Train.

Improve.

Every golfer starts from a different place, but every golfer benefits from a structured improvement system.

Most golf facilities provide access.

CGS provides a system.

Inside the facility you’ll find:

  • TrackMan Performance Bays
  • A dedicated Short Game Performance Area
  • A Performance Gym
  • Coaching and development pathways

These aren’t separate amenities.

They’re connected parts of one integrated improvement system designed to help golfers improve more efficiently and consistently.

No.

Many members use the facility independently.

However, coaching can accelerate progress by helping you:

  • Understand your data
  • Identify priorities
  • Build a clear improvement plan
  • Avoid wasting time on ineffective practice

Whether you choose coaching or independent membership, the facility is designed to support long-term improvement.

TrackMan is one of the most trusted performance technologies in golf.

It measures:

  • Ball flight
  • Club delivery
  • Impact conditions
  • Shot outcomes

Instead of guessing what happened, TrackMan allows you to measure what actually happened.

Better information leads to better decisions.

Better decisions lead to better improvement.

Because scoring happens around the green.

Many golfers spend most of their time working on full swings while neglecting the shots that influence scoring the most.

The CGS Short Game Performance Area allows members to train:

  • Putting
  • Chipping
  • Pitching
  • Bunker play
  • Distance control
  • Scoring skills

This is where improvement starts showing up on the scorecard.

Because your swing can only do what your body allows.

Mobility restrictions.

Strength limitations.

Stability deficits.

Movement inefficiencies.

All of these can influence performance.

The CGS Performance Gym helps golfers develop the physical capacity required to move better, practice more effectively, and play better golf.

Not at all.

The Performance Gym is designed to support golfers of all ages and physical abilities.

The goal is not bodybuilding.

The goal is helping golfers move better.

Programs can focus on:

  • Mobility
  • Stability
  • Strength
  • Movement quality
  • Injury prevention

Everything is designed around improving golf performance.

CGS offers multiple membership pathways designed to match different goals and levels of commitment.

Members can choose from:

  • Access Membership
  • Amateur Membership
  • Performance Membership
  • Tour Membership

Each option provides different levels of facility access, coaching, accountability, and performance support.

The best way to determine which membership is right for you is through a Studio Visit.

Members enjoy extensive facility access designed to support consistent improvement.

Access levels vary based on membership type.

During your Studio Visit, we’ll explain which membership options best align with your goals, schedule, and desired level of support.

That’s exactly why the Studio Visit exists.

Most golfers know what they want:

  • More distance
  • Better consistency
  • Lower scores
  • More confidence

But they often aren’t sure why they’re struggling or what to focus on next.

Our process helps identify where you are today and the most effective path forward.

You don’t need to have all the answers before you arrive.

That’s our job.

Yes.

Many golfers struggle with limitations that affect their ability to swing efficiently, practice consistently, or play without discomfort.

Through our Performance Gym and partnership with Lance Gill Performance, we can help identify physical limitations and build strategies designed to support better movement and long-term improvement.

Every golfer is different, which is why assessment is such an important part of the process.

The best first step is to book a Studio Visit.

You’ll see the facility, learn how the system works, discuss your goals, and receive guidance on the best path forward.

Whether you’re looking to improve your swing, score better, move better, or simply practice with more purpose, the Studio Visit is where the journey begins.
